Thanks Ryan! When I first discovered Isis, I practically discovered Pelican in the same breath, along with Cult of Luna.

I haven't seen any of them live but would like to.
I would like to see them live in a bubble though with no one else there, because I detest being amongst youth culture now as they enjoy music. You would think i would be like "Yeah! I like this too! What's your name? How great are you? Really? Wow, I am great in this way! See you again soon!"

I don't know what your practice set up is.. but I would take headphones, and listen to simple shit like the CARS and follow it with The Melvins..
Any music that turns you on- will turn on your drumming enjoyment-will turn on your progress.

I swear there isn't a DAY that goes by, that I didn't wish I had a drum kit set up somewhere that I could go and beat on.

It's remarkably difficult to learn how to coordinate your limbs while drumming. Practice is obviously the key, but patience also works wonders.
