Hi my name is Brett. I live in Idaho. This photo is beautiful but you cant really see the disease on the
trees.
They are supposed to burn every once in a while.
We wont let them.
And they are supposed to be Ponderosa pine not
Douglas Fir.
We did that.
I would like to think we could get this right.
Nice to meet you.
Brett.

Hello sir, and welcome. Keep 'em coming. Good stuff.
Ya.
I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get around to thanking Brett for accepting Blind Butcher's invite to post.
Brett is a super cool dude, and an accomplished musician who I totally respect-and as I am coming to learn- a great commentator/entertainer with his short film projects.
I am hoping that he (you,Brett) will share with Blind Butcher your American Films creations here in this forum. We sure would appreciate it. (why do I sound like a hillbilly?)
What's the deal with the diseased trees? Is it pollution? How would they look if they were healthy, because to me... That picture is beautiful.. I guess the only thing I have to compare it to is living in the Tundra or the Dessert and Grasslands. I lived in Portland for a spell, and drove to Timberline one year (because of The Shining connection). As an ignorant tourist and resident.. I just see beauty in nature when I don't know anything of the local "flora"... Guess I need an education.. WHAT A SURPRISE.
Thanks again. Please post WEEKLY!!!
